Woah, no commenting feature? I wasn’t really into blogs in 2000 so I never noticed. I love those little looks into the past though.
Happy birthday! On my forum, someone just started up a time capsule that I’m supposed to bring up in 25 years… they’ve got a lot of confidence. :p

Wow, vm, that made my day. That, and Spain winning the World Cup! Thanks, you’re really too kind. I missed Spoon purposely because I saw them earlier at the Sound Academy, but not without a twinge of regret. It’s the first time I’ve missed them playing in Toronto since 2001.

Toronto Screen Shots is the only source I trust on the subject of all things film. Maybe someday you can replace one (or both) of those madmen writing for the Globe.

PS- Hopefully you were able to catch Spoon at the Molson Amphitheatre?

Dude, well done. I remember back in 2001 when Dinah Sanders had one of your Compilation Champs mix CDs and I thought to myself “I don’t want to meet this guy. He’s going to be way too hip for me.”
