Clive Thompson is one of my favourite technology writers. I first started reading him when he wrote for Shift, and I actually got to meet him at SxSW last year. Imagine my delight at discovering he has a blog, cleverly entitled Collision Detection.

Well, the problem seems to be fixed now, but for the past 4 or 5 days, I’ve been unable to post due to a problem with a Perl module at my web host, which affected all Movable Type users.

And another celebrity. Today I sold a computer to singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith.

Encore could also refer to the lingering presence that is Jish. Last night, Jish attracted hordes of GTAB types for the third time in about two months. Much merriment was had. Rannie will post evidence soon.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a really nice brunch with Rannie, Jay, Natalie, and Davezilla. Brooke still isn’t entirely clear whether or not Dave’s last name is “Zilla”. I’m going to tell her that it is and that his brother’s name is God.
