F***ed Weblog: Funny, also Sad.

Since the whole Kaycee Nicole story appears to be an elaborate hoax, a friend whom I have actually met in person has allowed me to post the graphic below that confirms that I am a Certified Real Person. Not sure if I like the acronym, though. Good thing it wasn’t Certified Real Actual Person. If you’re not completely exhausted by the Kaycee story yet, there’s a good FAQ now available.

Thanks to Leia, I’ve discovered Dan‘s excellent comment system, dotcomments, and have installed it. Please let me know what you think and if you have any trouble. I like the idea of having my comment system on my local server instead of hosted somewhere else. So goodbye BlogVoices, and thank you. Now, if everyone who commented could just go back and re-enter your comments again….(kidding).

Heather brings a wide-eyed Derek to Canada. And yes, those are my dear friends Anil and Brad bashing Canada and me over on Derek’s blog. I can forgive stupidity. Besides, it’s too much work to go back over my SXSW photos and Photoshop those bastards out.

I’ve been back since last night, but haven’t even looked at what anyone else has written. To sum up, SXSW was a blast, an energizing and very rewarding week. I’ll be working on a section with more detailed recollections and photos this weekend, but for now, special thanks are due to a few people: Michael and Ari Brown for their incredible hospitality, Davezilla for his stupendous generosity, Rebecca Blood for her amazing and genuine interest and affection, and Brad Graham for all around hilarity. More to come soon…
