Top of the B-List
Well, the winners of the Bloggies™ have been announced, and sadly, I was not among them. Seems fitting, though, that Consolation Champs should be a runner-up. Thanks to Nikolai, I’ve discovered lots of places I’d not seen before, and lots of folks have discovered me. Congratulations to all the winners. Special mention to Matt, whose Metafilter cleaned up, and Tom, who kicked arse as well.
Gotta work extra hard now to win an Anti-Bloggie™.

Speaking of birthdays, I’m thinking of putting together a “Bloggers’ Birthdays Page,” where you can quickly see at a glance when any of your favourite bloggers’ birthdays are. It would make sending cards and gifts a breeze. Maybe I can get it functional before my birthday in a couple of weeks (hint, hint!). If you’re interested in having your birthday listed, let me know. It might just start off as a simple list page, but it has potential.
Neale and Denise know already that they’re not finalists at the SXSW Web Awards. Did they get an email? I got nothing. Does that mean I am a finalist? Seems like a strange process, although I shouldn’t say anything in case the judges are visiting! If they are, and I am, would they let me know?
