Welcome MB

Finally added michaelbrown to the links on the right. I’ve been enjoying Michael’s blog for several weeks now, and have even corresponded some with him. He’s an Austinite and we’re going to consume some alcohol when I’m there for SXSW. Michael’s writing is genuine and witty, and I’m looking forward to meeting him in person. Check out his blog and especially the pictures of his adorable little boy. Michael and Julien make fatherhood sound very enticing!

Site Design Archive

I’ve put together a very very basic (and rather ugly) version of a site design archive. My first site was a personal site called “between the hammers” and “consolation champs” grew out of that. I’m still looking for an old pic of version 1.0 from 1997. This will eventually be much more fun than it looks right now. I promise…

Old Design Graveyard

I love the idea of keeping an archive of old designs, like Waferbaby has started with his Tracks project. Heather has taken it to its logical conclusion and constructed a (nearly) complete timeline of her site. Stay tuned, if I can dig up some screenshots, I’ll put something together. Prepare to cringe! Oh, and if you just can’t wait to cringe, read My Waterloo (warning: it’s 8 (long) screens long).
