.Text – Wha?
I’ve just come across a blog built using something called .Text which appears to be somehow not just built using Microsoft technology (ASP, IIS servers), but somehow sponsored by them. Can anyone tell me more? Could this be the once-jokey-rumoured Microsoft Blogger™?
Desert Island Blogs, from 2001
I was reading some of my old Metafilter comments today and came across this thread, discussing our favourite blogs from February 2001. How many of these are still in existence, and of those, how many are still interesting?
What’s your opinion on the state of blogging as we approach 2004?
Zambia Stories
Intrepid reporter dude Josh Benton is spending six weeks in Zambia as part of the Pew Fellowship in International Journalism program. He’s taking a break from posting at his usual place, crabwalk.com, and has set up a special blog, Zambia Stories, to document his trip. Josh is quite a globetrotter, having done a series of stories on tiny Pitcairn Island a few years back. Last year, he even visited Toronto.
MT-Blacklist Plugin
Do you use Movable Type? Are you tired of deleting comment spam? Now, the bald and brilliant Jay Allen is doing something about it. Try MT-Blacklist. It’s very easy to install, and it helps deal with a very annoying problem.
