Shift Is Dead (Again)

Shift was Canada’s version of Wired, though much more narrowly focussed on the “digital lifestyle.” Despite its general excellence, it never really found much of a reader base. It looks like it may be dead for good this time. It will be missed.

War’s On?

I saw my first war commercial last night. General Motors was crowing about how they built lots of stuff for WW2. Does this mean that the war with Iraq is now on? What’s next? General Electric using their prowess at building weapons to sell you a toaster?
