Anil ponders what I’ve been pondering. How does an English major who loves the web find satisfying work? I’m an ok web developer. There are many many people more talented. But I think I can do more. I can manage people. I can keep abreast of currents and trends. I love talking strategy and “big picture.” I love writing and editing. How can I do all of these things? Because what I’m doing right now is just a small subset of my talents and not even the strongest of those. As the web matures, people like us will be valuable. Right now, though, we’re still in the specialist phase. Pretty soon we’ll need to get all these specialists talking to each other. I’ll be here.
