I have really been enjoying Steve Malkmus‘s new CD lately. It reminds me of all the reasons I wish I could play guitar. Worst of all, he’s playing SXSW, and I’m leaving Austin before the Music portion starts. Here are all the shows I wish I could see, but won’t:

Is it just me?

Is it just me or does the blogging community seem preternaturally quiet these days? Several of my faves haven’t updated for 3 or 4 days, and everyone just seems sort of sluggish in general. Is it the February blahs or the excitement of SXSW coming up (for those of us who are lucky enough to be going)? Or something darker?
