Ok, the best albums of 2005? Never mind the fact that I’m still working through the best of 1979, and hardly bought any music at all this year. But I’m not yet an ossified geezer, and I still listen to lots of new music. I heard lots of new bands this year, but as far as listening to complete albums, here is a list of what I consider the albums of the year (in no particular order):
